Installing Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent On 2014 Nissan NV200 Roof with Ridges  

Question:

I am interest to vent line roof fan VP-543SP and kit RVIKIT100 which I like to install to my Nissan NV200 Cargo van but the roof sheet metal has factory bend Metal foaming a u-shape design. It measure about 6inch of length apart. Your part requires 6-1/4inch of opening and flange measures 8-5/8 inch so the flange Will not sit in flush to the roof metal and seal completely, air and water may be leak into internal Cargo, is there any suggestion to install it? Bend break On the roof is about 1/8inch height.

In order to seal the Ventline Vanair Trailer Roof Vent # VP-543SP on your 2014 Nissan NV200 I recommend using the sealant that comes in the Installation Kit # 344270KITW. This sealant is waterproof and will keep the elements out of your van. The sealant will fill the space between the roof of your van and the vent.

I spoke with Ventline about installing the Vanair on a cargo van with a ridged roof. They do not have any recommendations or suggestions for installing the vent on the roof of your 2014 Nissan NV200.
