Is Race Installed In Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly
Question:
I dont have a race tool and dont want to buy one for this infrequent task... So, its a big plus if the races are pre-installed. Can you confirm if they are? Thanks.

The race is pre-installed on the Dexter Axle Trailer Hub, part # 8-259-50. A separate tool is not required to use if you need to install a race.
I am attaching a helpful article that explains how you can remove and install bearings, races, and seals in a hub. It is actually pretty easy, but you will want to use some caution to keep from damaging the new race.
