Does the Base of the Campco Big Red Gas Campfire Get Hot

How hot does the base get- ok on concrete painted lanai surface? Ok on glass table top?

The base of the Campco Big Red Gas Campfire # CAM58035 will get very warm when in use. It wouldn't get hot enough to damage a glass top table, but I would still recommend you put something resistant to heat between the pit and the table just so that the table doesn't get marked up in any way.
I also wouldn't recommend touching the base of the fire pit when in use either. You would want to allow it to cool down thoroughly before handling it.
