Can Tire Chains be Used on the Front Tires of a 2015 Ford F-150 Lariat
Question:
Can you still pull tire chains on all 4 tires on the 2015 F150 lariat? The front ball joints look really close for clearance.

I checked the owners manual for the 2015 Ford F-150 and I have some information on the use of tire chains on the truck.
The manual says not to use chains/cables on the front tires because of interference with the suspension. It also says that you will need to use Class S rated cables, not chains. The maximum speed with cables on is 30 miles per hour. And you can only use them on the following tire sizes: 245/70-17, 265/70-17, or 265/60-18.
If you have 245/70-17 tires you can use cables # PW3010C or # TC3010. For 265/70-17 tires you can use # PW3027C or # TC2028. And for 265/60-18 tire you can use # PW3027C or # TC2028 as well. For any of these chains I also recommend tensioners # PW99 to keep the chains nice and tight on the tires.
