Should O-Ring be Replaced On Tire Valve Stem Extender that Was Leaking Air
Question:
Tire extender started leaking air at the connection to valve stem of inner tire after one year. Rubber o-ring was removed and not leaking now but wondering if I should replace the o-ring, leave as is, or just buy new extender. Thanks

It sounds like the o-ring in the valve extender such as # WM80294 may have dry rotted causing the leak. I do recommend a new o-ring which you could obtain from an auto parts store. But make sure the extender and tire valve stem are all clean and free of any dirt, debris, or corrosion which would negatively impact the seal.
If you continue to have problems then I do recommend new extenders. And if you still have problems even after that then you may need to have a new valve stem installed at a tire shop.
