2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2010 Lexus GX 460 Brake Controller Install
Question:
I need to know if there is a plug and play harness from a Prodigy P2 or do I hard wire the factory harness that comes with the P2 to bare wires on the Chevy? Im also going to be using this unit in a 2010 Lexus GX 460. What combination of parts would be best for me?

On your 2012 Chevy Silverado no plug is present under the dash for the install of a brake controller, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash.
I attached an install video and help article that covers how this is done.
To install this controller in a 2010 Lexus GX 460 will require the install harness part # 3040-P instead and a second install bracket part # 7686.
