When you are installing the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System, part # RM-8700 on your 2008 Tahoe there are a couple things you will need to finish the installation.
You will also need a stop light switch kit. This alerts the monitoring system if the brakes on your Tahoe are applied. If you have adjustable brake pedals the kit you need is part # RM-751220. If you have a non-adjustable pedal in your Tahoe the kit you need is part # RM-751421. A brake light relay is not needed for your vehicle.
For the tow-bar wiring I recommend part # RM-154. This includes the diodes needed.
Last, you will need an umbilical that goes between the wiring on your RV and the vehicle. If you have a 7-way on your RV and need to hook up to the 4-way on the vehicle you can use an adapter like part # BX88206. You would need to cut the end off of the RM-154 and wire it to the 6-way adapter included with the BX88206. Then you would plug the 6-way on the coiled cord to the 6-way on the vehicle and plug the other end into the 7-way on the RV.
I have attached a helpful article about flat-towing you can check out. When flat-towing your Tahoe you will need 5 items. You will need base plates, a tow bar, safety cables, lighting for the Tahoe, and you have the supplemental brake system. If you need any of these other items just let me know and I can make some recommendations for you.
