Question:

One side of the tow bar doesnt lock when you pull away, but if you disconnect that side and pull it a very little bit it locks. Once it is lock I hooked it back up and it stayed lock for the entire trip. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

Over time there can be dirt and carbon build-up on the springs inside the arm which can weaken the spring in the Autowlok button assembly and make it difficult to push the bar far enough to lock into place.

I recommend the Repair Kit for Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, part # RM-910003-60. This comes with illustrated instructions that show how you can repair the tow bar and have it working as good as new.
