Is Ground Clearance The Same For Trailair Flex Air Pin Box As The Pin Box It Replaces

Question:

I had another question about the flex air....I asked earlier and plan on leaving the air in the bag at all times, but that raised another question when I install this pin box should the height from the ground match the old 1621 with or without the flex air inflated to 80 psi??

The mounting position of the Trailair Flex Air 5th Wheel Pin Box, part # LC328492 would be the same as you had on your 1621 pin box, and the ground clearance should be the same as well.

After you have installed it, you can leave air in the bag when you are not attached for towing. We recommend checking the air pressure in the bag before towing and making adjustments when needed. When you have adequate air in the system, the outer sleeve of the shock should be flush with the arrow or line on the shock sleeve.
