Availability of Protective Cover For Switches That Operate 5th Wheel Landing Gear

Question:

I just bought the bulldog 500161 legs from you. My switches are mounted on the front vertical area it is a fifth wheel trailer behind the rear tire. I that location it gets hit by whatever the tire throws up there. So it gets hit by a lot of water, dust, small rocks etc. do you know of a good protective cover that can be installed over the switch panel? I have already looked in the local building supply stores but did not find anything . The last set of switches did not last very well at all. I know I might be able to move them but it is a good location to operate the legs from. Thank you

Reese doesn't offer a protective cover for the control switches of their # RP500708 landing gear. Many folks mount them inside the front storage compartment, which keeps the switches protected from the elements. They'd still be easily accessible. Installing mud flaps on your truck would also help prevent rocks and other road glop from being kicked up into the front of your fifth wheel.

If you'd care to reply with the year, make and model of your truck, I'd be happy to make some recommendations along those lines.
