Could a 16k Sidewinder Handle 2,000 lbs of Pin Weight
Question:
I have a saber 36flrb with a Lippert 1621 the kin pin weight is 2039 lbs will the sidewinder RP61422 turret handle the weight.

A basic rule to go by is that the tongue weight of a 5th wheel trailer is about 20 percent of the gross trailer weight. The Sidewinder part # RP61422 has a 16k total trailer capacity and 20 percent of 16,000 is 3,200 so it would have no problem at all with the pin weight of 2,039 lbs.
