Pullrite Hitch Will Not Hook Up To Revolution Pin Box On Fifth Wheel Trailer

Question:

Need advice My dealer installed a new pull rite 16k is r head into my 15 silverado and my trailer is equipped with a reese revolution pin box at pickup we were unable to hookup as jaws will not lock As a fifty year big truck operator I have never experienced this type of problem , can you give me advice on making this work, My dealer seems bewildered, though they are planning to replace pullrite with a Reese 16k I am mystified myself

If the Pullrite hitch is a Superglide, it is not compatible with the Revolution pin box on the trailer. This is because there is not a capture plate available to allow the SuperGlide to hook up to the Revolution.

I recommend a Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch, part # RP30047 for your 2015 Silverado. This is a 16K hitch that has dual jaws for more jaw-to-king-pin contact and a 3-1/2 inch height adjustment.
