Can an RV Ladder be Trimmed to be 56 Inches Long and a Separate Extension Added as Needed
Question:
Is there a ladder that does not have hinges that can be shortened to around 56. I have seen some ladders that do not come all the way down to the bottom so as to keep children climbing the ladder. They use another ladder to access the installed ladder. With the other ladder the windows can be cleaned and also used for the roof access?

It sounds like you could use ladder # SP502L without the lower part but putting the mounting feet at the ends of the top section. Then you could use ladder extension # SP504L. This may take some creative installations but due to the universal nature of the aftermarket ladders we have this is the best option.
