Rhino-Rack Roof Rack for Fixed Mounting Points on a 2015 Mazda CX-5
Question:
I want to install a roof rack but I do not want to have the clamp system that attaches by the door so my option is to install it on a fixed roof mounting point. I have a 2015 CX5 with a naked roof. I dont know if there are fixed mounting points or not, I assume there are. Is there anyway I can find out? If there are, is there any video of how to install this roof rack to a fixed mounting point? to a CX5 specifically. Thanks. # RRRS367B

The fixed mounting points on your 2015 Mazda CX-5 are under 4 little doors on the roof along those black channels on either wide of the vehicle roof. Use a flat blade screwdriver to pop off the doors. The roof rack feet in Rhino-Rack roof rack # RRRS367B will bolt directly to these locations.
I have linked a video that should help. It is on a Mazda 3 and a different roof rack but it will be essentially identical on your CX-5 and Rhino-Rack roof rack.
