What is the Weight Capacity of the Kenda 5.70-8 Bias Trailer Tire with 8" Galvanized Wheel AM30156

Question:

My understanding is that if a tire has load range C, it can carry 1,820 pounds. Im interested in buying your Kenda 5.70-8 Trailer Tires with a 5 on 4-1/2 and Load Range D... yet the specs say it its max load is 1075 lbs... If a Load D tire, shouldnt it be able to handle at least over the 1820 lbs?

Load Ranges for tires can and will change based on the tire size. Not all Load Range C's have the same capacity.

The most important factor to consider will always be the stated capacity at the max tire pressure.

The part # AM30156 that you referenced has a 1,075 lbs at 100 psi so that is it's actual capacity regardless of it being a Load Range D. The Load Ranges are basically designed to easily organize tire capacities based on size.
