Fit and Compatibility of Thule OutWay TH56BV Trunk Mount Bike Rack on 2016 Subaru Forester

Question:

Will the TH56BV work with a 2016 Forester Limited this has the spoiler. If not this model is there one that will work? I don't want a trailer hitch or roof carrier.

Thule has determined that the OutWay 3 bike model, part # TH56BV is indeed a fit for your 2016 Forester, but it's not recommended that a trunk mount rack be used on Forester models with the hands free liftgate.

If you'll be transporting women's bikes or bikes with sharply-angled top tubes, you might also consider a frame adapter bar like part # 64005. The bar spans the distance between the handlebar gooseneck and the seat post, which provides a secondary attachment point for the bike rack. This allows the bike to be carried level, which maximizes ground clearance. I'll link you to a video showing how the adapter bar works.
