Best Way to Use Two Different Weight Distribution Systems for Different Weight Trailers
Question:
The tongue weight of a TT toy hauler I plan on buying will be in the 10K-13K range max 14K. I am looking at the RP66130. Prefer cams over friction pads. Assuming the RP66130 is a good choice, here is my real question. I also want to tow a 77inch x 14foot dual axes utility trailer 7,700 GTWR. I will put wood sides and haul firewood plus firewood in the bed of truck. I expect to be close to 7,500lbs GTW. I am looking for Spring Bars 200-800 lb range and lift brackets with chains that will be compatible with the RP66103. I will even put a 2 5/16 coupler on the utility trailer. I do not need sway controler on the utility trailer and would like to use components that I have already invested in the RP66130. In addition, I dont want to unbolt, and bolt parts from trailer to trailer. Can I get by with brackets, chains and bars? If so, what Reese part numbers? Thanks in advance,

For the price of piecing together a second lower rated WD system your best option is going to be to get the part # RP66130, a second system rated for your other trailer without a shank like the part # RP66022 and then a single shank for both systems to use like part # RP54970.
The reason I recommended a higher rated system than what you asked about is that tongue weight is typically 10-15 percent of total trailer weight and your trailer is going to be 7,500 lbs.
For a 2-5/16 inch ball you would need part # C40086.
