Can Firestone Air Bags be Installed on a 2014 Ford F-250 with Reese Custom 5th Wheel Install Kit
Question:
I just installed the Reese custom 5th wheel kit. Does the Ride Rite kit install with the 5th wheel frame kit already installed?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can install Firestone Ride-Rite air bags # F2550 on your 2014 Ford F-250 with the Reese custom 5th wheel kit # RP50026-58 installed.
The top brackets for the air bags mount to the inboard sides of the frame. There is a hole in the frame in this location but the 5th wheel brackets do not have a matching hole. Reese has told us it is permissible to drill a hole through the brackets in order to mount the air bags.
I have linked a video showing an example installation of the Firestone air bags for you.
