Where to Mount the Stomberg Carlson Lend a Hand on a Trailer

Question:

I received this handle as a gift from my kids for my birthday. It came with no instructions, just a handle in the box, but looks simple enough to mount. The only question I have is, do I mount it just over my existing little handle that came on my trailer or do I mount it just below. Ive heard both. It is a left hand handle that is currently on the aluminum sided trailer. I plan to fill in the right side of the lock so no one can lock us in the trailer, dangerous. Thanks in advance.

I would mount the Lend-a-Hand Folding Grab Handle # AM-200 on your trailer wherever would put it in the most convenient location for you. Most likely this would be the handle you would grab over the current one on your trailer so if you wanted to mount it over it you would be just fine.
