Testing for Trailer Brake Light Signal on 2001 Chevrolet Silverado with Tow Package
Question:
I have no brake lights at the yellow wire it coming out of a blue wire. 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 2 wd

If you're checking the tow package wires behind the bumper for a brake light signal, you will also want to check the fuse for the trailer left hand signal and brake lights. The fuse may have blown and will prevent you from finding a signal at the wire.
If you are testing the wires somewhere else on the truck, let me know where you are testing the wires at and I will be happy to make a more specific troubleshooting suggestion.
