Do all of the Wires of the Invisi-Brake Need to Be Wired to Install Brake Kit

I already have a charge wire from the coach to the towed vehicle battery so do I need the wire to the running lights ? Also on my 2014 F-150 do I need that brake light relay and what does it do?

Even though you already have a charge wire ran from your RV to your vehicle batter you would still want to run all of the wires to install the part # RM-8700 on your truck.

To determine if a brake light relay # RM-88400 is needed to properly wire your vehicle to be towed, answer the following questions.

Are you using a supplemental braking system that depresses the brake pedal in your towed car?

No - You do not need a brake light relay.

Yes - You may need a brake light relay. Continue on to the next question.

Do the brake lights on your towed car illuminate while the engine is off?

No - You do not need a brake light relay.

Do your towed car's brake lights act as both the brake signals and the turn signals?
