Troubleshooting Trailer Wiring on a 2012 Nissan Frontier Where Running Lights Dont Work

If you installed a trailer wiring harness on your 2013 Nissan Frontier and the running lights are not working, then you may need to install an additional relay under the passenger side kick panel. For this you would use a blue relay from the Curt Relay Kit # C57000. For some reason Nissan included the running light relay on some models but not others, even if they did not come with a tow package.
The location for the running light relay is in the relay harness behind the passenger floor board kick panel. See picture and install video.
