Could the Erickson Ladder Rack part # EM07705 Install with Bed Rail Cover Bars
Question:
I have a 2013 F-150 Lariat with the chrome package, this package comes with chrome side bars. Can I move this rack system inside the mounting places for the side bars which sit in the stake pockets both front and rear or would I have to remove the chrome bars?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If you have chrome bed rail covers that attach at the stake pockets of your 2013 Ford F-150 they most likely would interfere with the part # EM07705 from installing and would have to be removed.
Even if you had the uprights of the rack installed in between the stake pockets the upright portion of the rack would still most likely hit the bars.
