Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Beach Cruiser Bike and Boys Mountain Bike

Question:

OK, Im confused. I have a 2007 Chevy Silverado, 2-inch hitch. We have one womens 27-inch beach cruiser, big tires, no gears, and one 24-inch boys mountain bike with adjustable suspension. I like a wheel rack as opposed to a hanging rack. I also want to spend $175-$225. Fold-away storage is desirable. Suggestions? Thank you

The wheel holders will adjust to fit bikes of different wheel sizes and wheelbases, and will hold bikes with wheelbases up to 60 inches and tires no wider than 3 inches. Exceeding similar bike racks, this rack has a weight capacity of 45 pounds per bike. The anti-rattle hitch bolt will reduce movement of the rack in the hitch receiver. When storing the bike rack, the arms will fold up to keep the bike rack compact.

If your women's beach cruiser bike has a step through frame, you may need a bike adapter bar, like # HRBA-PRO, to secure your bike to a bike carrier. The carrier support the bike a the top frame bar, but step-through bikes do not have this top frame. The adapter bar will attach between the bike's handle bars and seat post and provide an attachment point for the bike carrier's frame hook.
