Thule Tire Chains for a 2015 Ford Escape Titanium

Question:

My ford escape has a tire size of 235/50R18. Fords owners manual does not recommend using changes on the 2015 Ford Escape with the above stated tire size. In California chains are required for snow conditions. Will part #TH2004205104 work with my vehicle? Did you have any concerns or recommendations? I noticed on your site that a video was done on a 2015 Ford Escape with the same tire size for Glacier Tire Chains. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Officially we can't recommend that you install chains on a vehicle that the manufacturer has said not to use chains on. With that being said we realize that certain areas require that you have a set of chains in the event of a snow-pocalypse (emergency).

For you a low profile chain like the Thule set part # TH2004205104 would be the best option to have on you for legal reasons and in case you do find your self in a situation where you have to use chains to get around.
