Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for a 2016 Ford F-250
Question:
When transferring a 16k Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch from a 2014 F150 to a 2016 F250 Super Duty built in May 2015, what parts are needed, if any?

Expert Reply:
If the 2016 Ford F-250 has the factory hitch prep package you would only need the part # RP30156 so that you could install your Reese 16k hitch.
If your new truck does not have the hitch prep package you would need a rail kit designed for your truck. For that you would want the part # DM8552000-71. This is a custom install rail kit that will install in about half the time as a universal kit and will minimize drilling.
