Installation Of Weld Brackets For Bulldog Electric Landing Gear On Fifth Wheel Trailer

Equipment: 2008 Heartland Bighorn 5th wheel Model 3670RL I am interested in the Reese landing gear set model RP500708. The dimensions of the brackets on the current legs are: Inside to Inside 15 3/8. Outside to Outside 19 3/8. There is 7 1/2inch of clearance from the top of the leg to the top of the compartment. I do not wish to do any cutting or welding. Will that model of Bulldog fit my unit? We do not offer any landing gear sets that meet the dimensions you said your brackets are located on your trailer.
In order to get a landing gear to fit like the Reese Electric 5th Wheel Landing Gear, part # RP500708, the brackets you currently have will have to be removed and new brackets will need to be installed in the correct location.
I have attached a drawing that shows the distance needed between the mounting brackets you can check out.
