I have a solution for you, but at this time none of the manufacturers that we carry have any towing mirror fits for the 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The most popular option is # KS3891. It clips on to a factory mirror that has a lip or gap between the glass and mirror housing. I have linked a video showing an installation for you.
Another option, and the most stable, is a door mounted mirror such as # 11650. This type of mirror offers great visibility. It will work as long as there is no body molding or cladding at the bottom of the door. I have linked a video for this mirror as well.
