Replacement Bulldog 30k BX1 Gooseneck Coupler Recommendation for Trailer
Question:
If I replaced my original Bull Dog inner tube with this new one could I drill a hole in the original outer tube so that I could utilize the pin and if this is possible, where would I drill and what size hole is required

I have a better solution for you, but I can't really recommend you start drilling holes in your outer tube as that could potentially reduce the trailer's capacity and would most likely void some warranties.
A better solution would be for you to remove your current outer tube and then install the # BD1289040300 instead as that would allow you to use the same style coupler as the inner tube that you referenced.
