Comparing 5th Airborne and Trailair Flex Air Pin Boxes
Question:
Which is better, the 20K Air Hitch inc or LC3284492. We have a Montana 2007 3475rls. We will be towing with a new 2016 2500 dodge ram or a 2016 F250

Expert Reply:
For a cushioned pin box I would go with the Flex Air pin box part # LC328492 over a 5th Airborne because the Flex Air has the same style of air cushioning plus the ability for the king pin plate to pivot back and forth to cushion front to back movement as well.
This pin box is designed to fit trailers that have a Lippert 1621 pin box. You would need to verify that as your current pin box before ordering.
