Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2013 GMC Sierra 3500 for Electric Over Hydraulic Actuator
Question:
I have a 2007 DRV 5th wheel with the actibrake system. I also have a new to me 2013 gmc 3500. I am reading that the hba-cam is nor compatible with the actibrake system. Is this true? Also, if that is the case, I am thinking about getting the tekonsha p3, but I am concerned about having to run a wire front to back.. What are your thoughts? Thanks

The # HBA-CAM that you referenced is only compatible with the HydraStar actuators. I can't recommend you use it with an Acti-Brake system.
Your best option is going to be to get a Prodigy P3 # 90195 like you referenced as it can be set to electric over hydraulic mode and would work well for you.
To install this controller would not require you to run a wire from the front of the truck all the way to the back. All of the wiring is available under the dash of your truck. I attached an install video and a help article for you to check out that covers this.
