In order to know if a hitch mount bike rack like the Hollywood Racks 3 Bike Hitch Mount Tilting Rack # HR6500 will fit with the spare tire on your Hummer H3, you will want to take a quick measurement.
Using a dowel rod or yard stick held down from the spare tire, you will want to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the yard stick. This measurement will let you know the clearance needed for your spare tire. I have attached a help article on finding this measurement for you.
When used with a trailer hitch, the Hollywood Racks # HR8500 measures 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the back of the upright bar on the rack. As long as the spare tire sticks out less than 9-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole, this bike rack will work well for you.
If you plan on carrying bikes with alternative frames, such as kids' bikes or women's bikes, I recommend using an adapter bar, like # 64005. The adapter bar attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem. This allows the bike to be positioned more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance. I have attached a product review video for this adapter bar.
