Using an Inline Transmission Filter # D13090 in Conjunction with Transmission Cooler
Question:
Probably a dumb question but here it goes. If I placed a cooler and mabe it is overkill but also an inline filter on a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan would there be any concern that it would be too much wear on the pumping mechanism?

Expert Reply:
Using an inline transmission cooler like the Derale model, part # D13090 in conjunction with the # D13504 transmission cooler should not present a problem with the transmission pump. The parts are designed to work together.
Keep in mind that using the inline filter along with the cooler will add some fluid capacity to the system, make sure to add enough fluid to completely fill the system.
