Recommended Brake Controller and Wiring Adapter for 2015 Ram 1500

Question:

Does this really work on a 2015 Ram? Was at RV dealer yesterday for 5 hours...they ended up saying that the dealer was the only way I would get a brake controller......

Brake controllers like the excellent Tekonsha Prodigy P3 # 90195 are NOT vehicle-specific and can be installed in just about any vehicle where there is 12V power and a brake light signal available to operate the controller. In your 2015 Ram 1500 brake controller installation is a simple plug-in process using wiring adapter # 3024-P along with the controller. The adapter's black plug connects to the back of the controller and the grey plug connects to the mating connector located up under the dash. This should be just behind the edge of the dash just to the right of your right knee when seated. Look for wiring wrapped with grey foam tape.
