Supplemental Braking Recommendation for 2003 Dodge Dakota being Flat Towed
Question:
Good afternoon, I purchased a 2002 Newmar Mountain Aire that already has the Prodigy P2 90885 installed. Unfortunately the harness didnt come with the motorhome. I tow a 2003 4x4 Dodge Dakota, what do you recommend? Thanks so much.

Sounds like you are flat towing a 2003 Dodge Dakota with your 2002 Mountain Aire. The Prodigy P2 is only designed for activating trailer brakes so you would need a different braking system to control the brakes of the truck.
The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the two vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
I attached a help article on supplemental braking for you to check out as well.
