Fifth Wheels Rails and Installation Kit for 2015 Ford F-350 Short Bed

Question:

I need to put the bed rails into the bed of my new 2015 f350 short bed. I also have airbags to put on as well. what is your recommendation for a rail kit that will fit my truck?

For your 2015 Ford F-350 short bed, you could use the Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rails and Installation Kit, # RP50026-58. I have attached installation instructions for you.

These rails are compatible with the Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese, Valley and Husky fifth wheel hitches but will not fit the Reese Elite Series (Signature Series) or Valley UBS hitches.

If you are still in the market for a fifth wheel hitch, take a look at the link that I have attached. It includes all of the hitches recommended for your F-350.

Now for the air bags. The fifth wheel installation kit is going to install on the sides of the truck's frame. As long as the air bags that you have for your truck install underneath and bolt to the bottom of the frame, you will not have any interference issues. A kit like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 will fit your F-350 if it is a gasoline engine and the air bags will work with a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch.
