Is Curt Echo C51180 Brake Control All Thats Needed for Installation on 2004 Dodge Ram

Question:

If I install the MOPAR accessory 7-way trailer connector wiring harness on my 2004 Dodge Ram but don't install a brake controller, will the Curt # C51180 Echo Brake Controller need anything in the cab for it to function?

As long as the 7-way you install has functional lighting circuits, the 12-volt power feed circuit is functional and you have a smart phone that uses the Android (4.4 version or newer) or iOS (8.0 or newer) operating system, It'll work just fine for you. You won't need to install anything else in the truck cab.
