Recommended Hitch Adapter And Dual Ball Mount For UTV With 1-1/4 Inch Receiver
Question:
MT70066 You guys have one of these but in 1.25? Need it for my utv. I found the dual hitch, but none like this. I want this one as it wont extend the ball further from the unit making the hitch weight less... Thoughts? Basically the hitch height at its current position is great for normal vehicle trailers, but not the attachment yard trailers... Thoughts?

Unfortunately we do not have any dual hitch ball mounts designed to fit a 1-1/4 inch receiver as you said your UTV has. I have attached a link to the 1-1/4 ball mounts we have but as I said, we do not carry dual receivers for a 1-1/4 receiver.
The shortest extender we offer is part # HTAD. This extender will fit in a 1-1/4 inch receiver and allow you to attach a 2 inch ball mount like part # MT70066. This extender measures 7-1/4 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the pin hole you would attach the ball mount to. Please see the attached photo with the measurements noted.
Using an extender will reduce the towing capacity and tongue weight capacity by 50 percent.
