Sidewinder Recommendation to Replace Trailer with RBW 7019 Pin Box
Question:
We are interested in a Reese SideWinder 5th Wheel Hitch. We checked out, we have a Pin Box RBW 7019. But the width of the Pin Box is a 1/2inch difference. Is it a Problem? Our inside messure is 12. Next question: Does the SideWinder fit on a CURT Q16? Thank you for your help and sorry for the rough english - we are from Germany. Have a nice day!

We have two options to replace your RBW 7019. You would want the part # RP61412 for a 16,000 lb capacity Sidewinder or # RP61412 for an air ride option.
However, since you said that your pin box width is 12 inches and the 7019 is supposed to be 12-1/2 inch you might check out the help article I attached that shows how to measure a pin box to determine it's model number.
The Curt Q Series of fifth wheel hitches aren't compatible with Sidewinders. The jaws of these hitches are too wide for the Sidewinder. We've had a few people come back who tried to use a Sidewinder with a Q series hitch and it tore the head of the hitch up and didn't work right.
