Remote Transmission Cooler Recommendation for a 2001 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a factory cooler on my 2001 chevy silverado 2500hd 6.0. Do I have to remove the factory cooler in order to use this derale cooler?

Ideally you would want to install the supplemental cooler like the part # D15220 downstream of your factory cooler. This way you get the benefit of both coolers.
I attached an install video that shows a similar cooler being installed in a similar 2002 Silverado as yours.
You will also need the part # D13006 and # D13035.
