Using a 1-1/4 Inch Swagman Xtreme Bike Rack with a 2 Inch Receiver Hitch
Question:
Hi. I have a swagman Xtreme bike rack that fits a 1.25 inch receiver. Would Y8890174 work to convert to 2 inch? Comments Ive seen indicate that regular converters have a lot of sway and it seems this adapter might be more stable.

The Yakima adapter is designed to fit certain Yakima bike racks, and will probably not be compatible with your Swagman rack.
If you can get me a model number for the bike rack, I can contact Swagman to see if they have anything. If not, there are hitch reducer sleeves, part # HT02, that you can use that should not rattle any more than using the bike rack in a 1-1/4 inch hitch.
