Is 12 Volt and 4-Way of Hopkins Multi-Tow Trailer Connector Adapter # HM47675 Active at Same Time

Hello, Im wondering if I have my trailer hooked up to the 4 way, could I also run something out of the 12V or do they have to be used one at a time?
