Recommended Tire Pressure for Kenda # AM30670 Tire
Question:
I have a custom built tear type trailer built on a rebuilt popup tent trailer frame with a torsion axle rated at 1500lb. The total weight of the tear when empty is 760lbs and when fully loaded it weighs 1100lbs. I plan on buying the Kenda 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12inch Galvanized Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C AM30670 from you. My question: What tire pressure do you recommend I dont drive over 60 with it. also I am unable to put a larger tire/wheel on it Thanks

I would strongly recommend you keep your tires inflated to their maximum psi which is 90 psi. If a trailer tire is inflated to a lower air pressure than the maximum, the amount of weight that the tire can carry will be reduced.
I attached an FAQ article on trailer tires for you to check out as well.
