Does Rampage Camera Require Smartphone Hotspot

Question:

Does the camera require that I use my iPhones hot spot to make the wireless connection? I dont believe it does Thanks

The Rampage Wireless Backup Camera will sync to your smartphone using Wi-Fi, as the camera unit is a Wi-Fi hot spot. Your smartphone will connect to the camera's Wi-Fi signal like any other Wi-Fi network. The camera does not require cellular service to be used.

The Rampage camera does require you to download the RamCam app in order to access the camera's video feed.
