Drilling Holes for a Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit on a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500

MY 2007 CHEVY 1500 HAS A BOX FRAME DO I DRILL THREW BOTH SIDES OF THE FRAME

Which installation kit are you using? For the Custom Install Kit, part # RP50064-58, if your truck has the long box you will drill 1 hole, if you have the short box, no drilling is required. If you take a look at the installation instructions for the install kit, in the description for the long box model, you would drill your hole through the outside of the frame, and using a bolt leader included in the kit, fish the bolt through using a cutout located on the inside of the frame member. If your truck has the short box, the needed hole will already be there, just fish the bolt through.
