Does the Rampage Backup Camera Require Cell Phone Signal to Function

I do a lot of off reading in remote areas without cellphone service. Will the cameras wifi still work?

The camera emits a WIFI signal so if you didn't have network reception the camera would still work fine since it does not use any network data or signal.
