Could the Rampage Backup Camera be Used for Backing Up a Trailer
Question:
Howdy. Everything I see has to deal with the camera facing down, suggesting a rather close focal point. Can it be positioned/rotated such that I could use it when backing my trailer into a camp site? If it will show whats approaching, perhaps, ten feet away, then the next question is how wide, left to right, is its view at ten feet? Im not worried about light - I put a lantern on the ground to create a target when Im backing up.

I spoke to my contact at Rampage and he said they do not have an exact viewing angle for the Rampage Camera part # RA7710 that you referenced. He said it's not a super wide angle.
The best I can do is have you check out the pictures of the display that I attached and the review video we did for the setup to give you an idea what the angle would be.
If you wanted to point the camera directly behind a trailer or vehicle to see where it is headed in reverse you certainly can do that. This camera also has a built in light that you can turn on from your phone for visibility at night.
