Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for 2011 Dodge Charger

Can you please suggest a bike rack for my Charger - no spoiler - that is well made and will protect my car as well as the bikes?

My personal favorite is the Thule OutWay 2-Bike Rack, # TH45JV or # TH56BV for the 3-bike. This bike rack uses only 2 rubber coated straps to attach the rack firmly to your vehicle's trunk or rear hatch. This makes installing and removing the rack super easy, the easiest that I have seen. The rack is lockable and the rack also includes an integrated cable lock to deter bike theft. This is by far my favorite rack.

As for protecting your car, here are a few tips that can considerably reduce the risk of damage to your vehicle when using a trunk mounted bike rack. 1) Make sure the surface of the rack and vehicle are clean and free of any debris. A good coat of quality car wax applied to the vehicles finish will also provide extra protection. 2) Installation instructions should be precisely followed. 3) Rack should be removed when not in use. 4) Rack weight capacity should be strictly adhered to.
