Mounting Hardware for Thule Adventurer on 2016 Honda Pilot Factory Crossbars
Question:
Vehicle=2016 Honda Pilot with dealer installed roof rails and crossbars. The crossbars are not adjustable as they are permanently screwed into the rails. The distance between on center is 32. The bars are 2 1/2 inches wide. I need to attach my 20 year old Thule Adventurer that has always used the OEM U bolts attached to the 1 inch square Thule crossbars. Will your QM3 replacement parts permit me to attach the box to the Honda rails?

The Thule Replacement Quick Mount Hardware # TH04997 will work well for you to attach to your 2016 Honda Pilot factory crossbars. I spoke to my contact at Thule and they said that the brackets will have plenty of room for your 2-1/2 inch wide crossbars, and that the 32 inch crossbars spread is within the recommended distance for cargo boxes.
