Adapter to Use a Husky/Valley 7054 Hitch in a 2015 Ram 3500 with Factory 5th Wheel Prep Package

Question:

Hello, i have a 16k Husky silder 5th wheel hitch cp 07054 or valley 7054 i used on my 2006 RAM 2500 short bed. Am purchasing a 2015 RAM 3500 short bed. Will this hitch fit the new truck or is there an adapter for use with the RAM OEM 5th wheel in system? Please advise.

The Husky/Valley Powerpull 5th wheel hitches fit in industry standard above the bed rails. If your new 2015 Ram 3500 has the factory 5th wheel prep package then to use the hitch you will need adapter # RP30154 or adapter # DM6099 (the rounded rail design of # DM6099 would be better for slider hitches). Both of these adapters accept hitches that fit in industry standard above the bed rails.
